I support clients, investors and hotel operators in the successful delivery of complex hospitality and real estate projects, from strategic planning through to project completion.
Luxury hotel projects bring together a wide range of stakeholders, expertise and responsibilities, often with differing priorities. The same level of complexity can also be found in many demanding real estate developments.
Architects, engineers, contractors, operators, investors and public authorities all play an essential role. Yet only one party remains responsible for the project’s overall success: the client.
Throughout the project, important decisions must be made, risks anticipated and competing priorities carefully balanced.
Few organisations, however, have the time or internal resources to oversee every aspect of a complex development on a day-to-day basis.
This is where independent project management adds value.
Working alongside the client, I help structure the project, coordinate stakeholders, prepare key decisions, anticipate risks and maintain alignment between technical, financial, contractual and operational objectives.
The goal is not to replace the project’s designers, consultants or contractors.
It is to ensure that the client remains firmly in control while benefiting from independent guidance, continuity and rigorous project oversight.
Because successful projects depend not only on the quality of the people involved,
but on their ability to work together towards a shared vision.
The client is the only stakeholder involved from the project’s first strategic decisions through to final delivery.
Architects, engineers, contractors, operators and investors all contribute at different stages of the project.
My role is to provide continuity throughout the entire process, ensuring that decisions remain consistent, project objectives stay aligned and the client’s interests are protected at every stage.
Working independently allows me to maintain an objective perspective, challenge assumptions when necessary and keep the project focused on its long-term ambitions.
No two projects are ever the same.
Every development brings together its own combination of asset type, contractual structure, regulatory requirements, financial objectives, stakeholders and operational constraints.
For more than twenty years, I have been supporting complex development projects, with my expertise now primarily focused on luxury hospitality. My experience also spans office, logistics, industrial and residential developments, delivered across diverse technical, contractual and organisational environments in both new-build and refurbishment projects.
It includes projects delivered through general contractors, construction management and traditional procurement routes, as well as a range of contractual structures including Development Agreements, Forward Funding arrangements and more conventional construction contracts.
Some projects have also been delivered under demanding international brand standards, strict operational requirements or particularly complex regulatory frameworks.
Each environment requires its own approach to governance, decision-making, risk management and project control. Rather than applying a standard methodology, I adapt my involvement to the specific objectives, organisation and challenges of every project.
This breadth of experience enables me to quickly understand each project’s unique challenges and provide support that is both pragmatic and tailored to its specific context.
As a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) since 2013, I work in accordance with the international standards of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), recognised worldwide for promoting professional excellence, ethical conduct and continuing professional development.
Because there are no insignificant projects.
Every project matters deeply to the people behind it.
Every one deserves the same commitment, rigour and attention.
Quality
Deliver a hotel that meets the project’s ambitions, the expected quality standards and the needs of its future users.
Cost
Maintain full control of the project’s budget and support informed financial decision-making throughout the development.
Programme
Keep the project on schedule and anticipate potential issues before they affect delivery.
Project issues rarely appear overnight.
Delays, budget overruns, technical inconsistencies, contractual issues, operational constraints or poorly managed interfaces between design and operations rarely appear overnight. They often originate months before they become visible.
Identifying potential risks at an early stage makes it possible to act before they affect the project.
This requires a comprehensive understanding of the project, close attention to the interactions between stakeholders and the ability to recognise early warning signs.
Anticipation is not simply about avoiding problems.
It is about creating the conditions for better decisions throughout the project.
Luxury hospitality is now at the heart of my practice.
My experience gained on complex projects across other sectors also enables me to support office, industrial, logistics and residential developments with the same level of commitment and attention to detail.

Creating hotels where every decision contributes to the guest experience, operational performance and long-term asset value.

Designing workplaces that support collaboration, productivity and business performance.

Delivering infrastructure that enables operational excellence.

Creating places designed to enhance everyday living and stand the test of time.

Unlocking the potential of existing buildings.
Every project is unique.
Every project brings together its own people, objectives, constraints and organisational dynamics.
No two assignments can therefore be approached in exactly the same way.
Beyond my operational experience, I have invested considerable time in understanding what enables teams to make better decisions, work together effectively and successfully navigate complex situations.
Today, this perspective enriches my approach to project management. It allows me to support projects not only from a technical, financial and contractual standpoint, but also by strengthening the collaborative dynamics that often determine their success.
Over more than twenty years, I have learned that the most costly project issues rarely originate from technical problems alone.
More often, they arise much earlier, when decisions are taken without sufficient information, responsibilities become unclear, communication breaks down or critical actions are postponed.
My role is not limited to representing the owner’s interests and coordinating project stakeholders. Above all, il is about creating the conditions for the right decisions to be made at the right time.
It is to create the conditions that allow sound decisions to be made at the right time.
For every key decision, I ensure that the relevant information is available, the issues are clearly understood, alternative options are carefully assessed and their technical, financial, contractual and operational implications fully considered.
This enables my clients to make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.
However, decisions only create value when they are effectively implemented.
This is why I place particular importance on actively following up decisions, commitments and ongoing actions throughout the project
An unanswered question, a delayed decision or a forgotten action may, only a few weeks later, result in delays, additional costs or operational difficulties.
Every issue is identified, monitored and followed through until it has been fully resolved.
This continuity maintains project momentum, helps anticipate obstacles before they arise and preserves alignment throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Ultimately, I believe that successful projects are built on the quality of the decisions that shape them and on the discipline required to see those decisions through to completion.
